National Training Academy

Ready to have a plan for your city and local church to be equipped, trained, and prepared before the next disaster? Our National Training Academy provides the foundational roadmap necessary to help launch a network of churches within your city that work together autonomously to serve those impacted by disaster.

Understanding the National Training Academy Program

Overview

The National Training Academy was created by UDRN with a demand to replicate and scale a tested disaster response model utilized in the city of Austin, Texas. UDRN has created the NTA to equip church and ministry leaders across the nation interested in launching a Disaster Relief Network. The program provides a foundational roadmap to scale UDRN’s model for your city. You’ll walk alongside a mentor as you experience a coaching-style approach to learning as each level of skills training and milestone are achieved.

Each NTA course builds upon the foundational skills, tools, and knowledge necessary to establish a Disaster Relief Network (DRN) within your city. A DRN is made up of a network of churches within your city that work together autonomously to serve those impacted by disaster. The model fosters relationship building between the church and local, city, and state emergency management organizations engaged in disaster response. The model also enables the church to remain relevant throughout the response with credentialed and badged volunteer training that is recognized by emergency management officials. Through the model’s unique survivor care solutions, you are able to help transform your community through essential resources that provide immediate relief, as well as long-term solutions that walk along-side survivors in their recovery process.

Connected in Crisis™

Is your city or local church looking for immediate relief in the areas of developing recovery plans and connecting resources? Let our team provide solutions in disaster relief, volunteer management, home construction, rebuilding, and program fulfillment to bring you peace of mind and help transform your community.

Understanding the Connected in Crisis™ Program

Overview

Oftentimes a disaster strikes before the need to form a disaster relief organization is felt or realized.

UDRN’s team is ready to deploy at a moments notice to support, equip, and train local churches and ministry leaders in the affected area to help quickly launch a Disaster Relief Network in order to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the survivors.

The Connected in Crisis™ Program provides key services and resources for rapid response in your community at a time when it is needed the most.

If you need support, please fill out our contact form and our team will connect with you to provide the best approach and plan to support your immediate needs.

In these instances when response is urgent, UDRN’s Connected In Crisis™ Teams (CICT) are prepared and trained in advance to deploy to disaster-impacted regions. CICTs are on-call, trained volunteers, who are passionate about disaster response and assisting the hurting.

Connected In Crisis™ Teams (CICT) are highly skilled to mobilize church leaders in times of crisis. Onsite for approximately 2-8 weeks, the CICTs work with you to mobilize and train volunteers, as well as assist you in creating a network of churches to care for survivor needs.

The team responds with all the supplies needed to help establish a DRN.

Since an organization created out of a crisis is solely focused on meeting the immediate needs precipitated by the disaster, the goal of all Disaster Relief Network’s (DRN) established through a disaster response effort will be to attend UDRN’s Intensive Course (4-Days) and ultimately move on to the Advanced Training (12-Month) to be fully prepared and established as a relief organization.

National Prayer Team Program
